Fight Smart! A Workshop on Strategy For Martial Artists

How to Use Ancient Chinese Strategies in the Modern Sparring Ring.

Participants will learn:
Strategies to use against opponents who are; taller, faster, and stronger.
The fundamental principles of deception, illusion, and redirection.
How to apply strategy to survival in everyday life.

Military history shows that battles are often won not by the biggest or fastest army, but by the commander who has the best strategy. The sparring arena is no different from the battleground. A slower and weaker fighter can beat a faster and stronger fighter if he is adept at using strategy. This workshop teaches strategies from The Thirty-Six Strategies. Although little known in the west, they are popular in China and Japan and are studied by both the military and political elite.
