Steve Fyffe 4th Dan was born 24 July
1951, he was registered Blind from birth. He took up Judo from 1957 until
retiring 1987, gaining grade 4th Dan. Started Aikido September 1987 and was
awarded (Shodan) 1st Dan Black Belt 1992 from The National Aikido
Federation. Awarded (Nidan) 2nd Dan Black Belt 1999.Joined Shin-Gi-tai
Aikido Society 2000. Awarded (Sandan) 3rd Dan Black Belt 2002.Awarded (Yondan)
4th Dan in September 2004He holds Certificates in NVQ level 3

Carrie Green
My name is Carrie Green, and I'm a
32-year-old totally blind woman from Canada. I am currently studying
two martial arts. In May of this year I began studying Bujinkan
Ninjutsu, and I've been studying Shotokan Karate, branch of Nishiyama
since May of 2003. I have obtained my gokyu in Shotokan this past
June. I've also studied Aikido as well. I have been so fortunate that the
instructors gave me the chance to join their dojos, and learn with
them. I am currently the only blind Martial Artist I know about here
in my province. I am from Regina, Saskatchewan
