Bibliography

In researching the materials for this book I focused on three areas, Chinese Strategy, Military Strategy in general (to use as a comparison), and, for the accompanying anecdotes, Chinese History. I was also searching for evidence of the rumor that the original text of the thirty-six strategies was a manuscript passed through secret societies and thus several books listed below deal with this area of research. Some anecdotes from Japanese History were added to illustrate the universality of the strategies.
